For the past several years, GoDaddy has been a pain in my ass. If you are planning on using them for only a domain registrar, ok, but if you plan on using their hosting services for other than email or static websites, GOOD LUCK!
I have had several WordPress sites hosted by GoDaddy and have had nothing but issues with them, the load times are absolutely horrendous, up to 20 seconds to load.
I will be spending the next few weeks moving all of my WordPress sites over to my other hosting account (Blue Host) and then I’ll start moving all of my static websites.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get some credits back from GoDaddy after I remove my hosting package.
